Description
Mount Pleasant is an earlier 19th-century detached house constructed from rubble stone, featuring a slate roof and stone end stacks, with one rendered stack. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window west front, characterized by timber brackets at the eaves, 12-pane sash windows with slate sills and stone voussoirs, and a central door with an overlight.
Since 1981, the ground floor center and left sections have been obscured by a flat-roofed addition, although the original window and door remain visible within. There is a northeast service wing that includes a large stone eastern stack. The house has 20th-century windows facing Bryn Road and a 20th-century eastern end addition situated between the rear wing and No. 4.
