Description
This is a cottage at the left end of a short row, forming a mirrored pair with the larger house, Clydfan, to its right. The cottage dates to an unknown period, and is constructed of painted rubble stone with a slate eaves roof. Two chimneys are visible on the roof ridge, one of stone and one rendered. The cottage is two storeys high with an attic. It has two bays, with 12-pane hornless sash windows on each floor to the left, the upper window being smaller. The ground floor windows have stone voussoirs, while those above are brick, with slate sills. A stone gabled porch has been added to the right side, featuring a board door with a four-pane overlight and a triangular glazed window in the apex. A small window is set into the left side wall of the porch. The left gable end is broad and painted, with overhanging verges. A small attic window is a four-pane casement with a triangular glazed head and a V-shaped tracery pattern. A half-glazed door is located on the first floor to the left, with slate steps leading up to it. Not available for inspection.
