Description
Treflyn is a house that forms one of a pair, built from rubble stone with an imitation slate roof and a brick stack at the south end. The building has two storeys and features a double fronted design with paired brackets supporting deep flat eaves. The windows are 12-pane sashes with cambered brick heads and slate sills, except for the left ground floor window, which has been replaced with a modern plate glass shop window. The centre of the house has a 6-panel door with a traceried narrow overlight, set in a Regency-style reeded doorcase that includes a shelf hood supported by brackets. There is panelling beneath the hood.
Originally, Nos 10 and 11 were a pair of whitewashed rubble houses with sash windows throughout, as depicted in 19th-century photographs, but No 10 has undergone substantial alterations.
