Description

Monabri is a simple two-storey terrace building from the 19th century, featuring scribed render and roughcast with two-window fronts and plinths. Numbers 12 and 14 are designed as reflected pairs. The terrace has steep slate roofs topped with rubble chimney stacks, which are rendered on No 14. The sash windows have small panes on the first floors of Nos 8 and 16, while No 18 has modern windows on the first floor. The shop fronts from Nos 10 to 18 retain cornices and end pilasters, with No 10 having a double front and No 14 featuring a bowed entablature. The doors are four-panel designs for Nos 8 to 16, with No 8 having a fanlight and No 10 including an additional half-glazed shop door; No 18 has a modern door. The rear elevations are made of rubble, whitewashed and rendered, with lean-tos and cross ranges.
