Description
Gwar Caeau is a cottage built from cement-washed rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring stone end stacks that have dripstones and capstones. The cottage is single-storey and double-fronted, with two ground floor windows and a central door. The windows have stone voussoirs and slate sills. The right-hand window has damaged fixed 12-pane glazing, while the left window is missing its glazing. This left window shows a straight joint extending down to the ground just beyond the left jamb, indicating it may have been a former doorway. The front door is also damaged. On the left end, there is a small loft window. At the rear, there is a small stone lean-to that has an end window and is covered with corrugated iron roofing.
To the right of the cottage, there is an attached rubble stone cow-byre that features a low doorway on the extreme left and has corrugated iron roofing in poor condition. Additionally, there is a small rubble lean-to at the rear. The property has not been inspected.
