Description
Clive Place is a house built around 1820 as part of a small development by the Powis Estate. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof that overhangs the plain eaves, with rebuilt gable end stacks. The building is two stories high and features a three-window range with a central entrance. The entrance has a six-panelled, partly glazed doorway set within a Tuscan porch. The windows are 12-pane sashes with flat arched painted heads that include keystones. Brick walls extend to single storey height on either side, connecting the house to its neighbors, with a segmentally arched carriage entry in the left-hand wall. This fine early 19th-century house is part of a distinctive group of similar buildings, including Nos 1-2 and 4 Clive Place.
