Description
Cribarth is a symmetrical two-storey house with an attic, featuring a double-pile plan. It is built from whitened rubble stone and topped with a hipped slate-covered roof that has coved eaves and tall stone stacks at each end. The front entrance is a central late 20th-century wood panelled door with a small light, situated beneath a three-pane overlight. The house has tall window openings with flat heads and stone sills, which contain renewed two-light multi-pane wooden casements. There are small skylights on the roof pitches and similar windows at the rear, which are placed irregularly.
Inside, there is a central stairlight at mid-level, with two windows to the left and one to the right on the upper storey, along with a small four-pane window at the eaves level. The lower storey features a half-glazed door that is offset to the right, flanked by three-light windows. To the north side, there is a renewed wing that has a hipped roof and is positioned at right angles to the main range, featuring a garage entrance at the front and an end stack at the rear. The north side has five windows with dormers, and the south side includes French doors. Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
