Description

Broniarth Farmhouse is a roughly 1850s farmhouse constructed with Flemish bond brickwork on stone foundations, featuring a hipped slate roof. The building has a double pile plan, meaning two rooms deep, arranged over two storeys and three bays. A central stair hall is a defining feature of the layout.

The main entrance is distinguished by a tall, open-pedimented timber doorcase, within which is a four-panelled door and a transom window above. The windows are twelve-paned sashes set in openings with segmental brick arches; the first-floor windows have six panes and all feature stone sills. Decorative brick dentils run along the eaves. Two chimney stacks are located on the central cross wall. A lean-to addition was built at the west end around 1920.

The rear elevation presents three-light transomed windows, with a central iron casement. The interior reveals king post roof trusses supported by angled struts, with a single tier of purlins.
