Description
Gauge House at Claerwen Reservoir is a small single-storey building constructed from coursed, rock-faced reconstituted stone. The flat roof is concealed behind a projecting coping course. On the east side, there is a boarded door, above which is a bronze plaque with raised lettering that commemorates the inauguration of Claerwen Reservoir in October 1952 by Queen Elizabeth II. The side walls feature small metal-framed windows with top-hung casements.
