Description

This is a packhorse bridge located to the southwest of Traihirion, partly within the Merthyr Cynog community. It features a humped single arch without parapets. The arch is segmental and constructed with thin stone voussoirs, topped with just thin coping stones, and there is some rubble stone in the spandrels. The roadway is cobbled, higher in the middle and undulating towards the sides. The upstream side shows eroded abutments, which have caused some movement in the soffit.
