Description
Elenydd is a small town house that was largely remodeled in the early 19th century, with some later modifications in the 19th century. The exterior features painted brick and a slate roof adorned with red tiled cresting and gable end stacks, while the rear wall is made of stone. The building is two storeys high and has a two-unit plan with a central entrance. The doorway is renewed and set within a reeded architrave, supported by long console brackets that hold up the entablature hood. The flanking windows on the ground floor are 12-pane sashes, and the first floor has long 15-pane sashes. There is a plain eaves band.
The property is enclosed by cast iron railings that create a small forecourt, featuring enriched fleur-de-lis finials on the railings and principal posts, along with a matching gate. Elenydd is a well-preserved example of an early 19th-century small town house.
