Description

Welshpool Baptist Church was built in 1811 and is constructed from rough local granite rubble with a slate roof. The building features doorways at either end of the long side, each with segmental voussoir heads. There are three high round-headed windows with simple Y-traceried glazing. In the upper gable end, there is a tall central window with a cambered voussoir head, along with two lower 2-light windows. This chapel is a good example of a simple early 19th-century design that retains its original character.
