Description
The barn at Dolau Farm is a Grade II listed structure primarily constructed of light timber framing, which is covered in corrugated-iron sheets, except for the weatherboarding on the north gable end. The south end of the barn has been rebuilt using rubble stone. The east side, which faces the entrance to the yard, features a wide full-height opening to the right of the center, along with two boarded doors and a lintelled door further to the left where the wall is made of rubble stone. The left gable end includes a loft doorway.
Inside, one complete cruck truss remains, while two others have been cut off at eaves level for conversion into roof trusses. A fourth cruck truss likely existed at the south end, where the wall has been rebuilt in stone.
