Description
This is a single-span aqueduct located southwest of the Church of St Cynllo, designed to cross a small stream. It is constructed from coursed, rock-faced stone with freestone dressings. The aqueduct features a small round opening that has a rusticated surround. There are two rock-faced buttresses on each side, with the outer buttresses nearly concealed by the steep bank. Above these buttresses, the parapet is made up of panelled freestone piers and a freestone coping. The outer sides of the aqueduct are fitted with iron railings and gates that provide access to the deck, where the conduit is buried beneath a layer of gravel.
