Description
The barn range at Glandwr is a two-storey outbuilding constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. The long facade features four catslide dormers, each with boarded doors, positioned above the first-floor openings.
Starting from the left, there is a cambered-headed stable door flanked by two small windows, with a square opening above that has a thin timber lintel beneath the large catslide dormer. Next, there are two doors, both with timber lintels; the second door has a long loft opening above it, also with a thin timber lintel under another big catslide dormer. Following this, there is a broad ground floor opening with a timber lintel and double boarded doors.
To the right, there are three doors with timber lintels and a vent loop, all situated beneath five broad boarded openings separated by four rubble piers. The second and fourth openings are directly under the catslide dormers, which are half the width of the loft openings. The fifth loft opening lacks a right pier but is positioned next to the side of full-height double barn doors. Another vent loop is located to the right, with no upper openings present.
The building has not been inspected.
