Description

38 High Street is a building from the 17th or early 18th century, featuring three storeys with a roughcast gabled front that slightly jetties over the ground floor. It has a slate roof with bargeboards. On the second floor, there is a small four-pane casement window, while the first floor has a four-pane sash window set in a flush surround. The ground floor includes a 19th-century shop front with an overall fascia, panelled pilasters, and a six-light splayed bay with original glazing. The half-glazed door has a moulded surround, and there is a small side window with diamond latticework.
