Description
12 High Street is a group of three-storey buildings with a single window front. Nos 12 and 13 are designed as reflected pairs. They are constructed of red brick with some stock brick headers, featuring a plinth and a first-floor cill band. The buildings have a slate roof, boarded eaves, and stacks made of both stock and red brick, with some areas that are partly slate hung. The windows are small pane sash types, with 9 panes on the second floor and 12 panes on the first floor, and there are two windows flanking the entrance to No 11. Nos 12 and 13 also have small pane sash windows next to four-panel doors.
At the rear, the elevation overlooks a courtyard that is shared with the supermarket at No 10. To the south, the site is bordered by a similar two-storey range that is partly weatherboarded and adjoins the rear of the shallower No 13.
