Description
Cwm-carnedd-uchaf is a building dating from around 1840, constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof. It is two storeys high and has four bays, with the entrance located in the third bay from the left. There is a cellar in the right end bay, and a two-bay service wing extends to the rear. The front door is part-glazed and inset. The building features six-pane sash windows, which have been rebuilt, with inset stone cambered arches and timber lintels on the upper floor. The rear has 6-light timber windows, with the upper centre light featuring a quadrant iron casement. A main axial stack made of stone is positioned in the centre bay, to the left of the through passage, while blue brick stacks are located at both gable ends. The building was not accessible at the time of inspection in August 1996.
