Description

Iscoed is a pair of houses located at the southwest end, separate from the main U-shaped group. They are notable for their three-sided front elevation, a design first seen a few years earlier in the garden cities created by Sir Raymond Unwin, such as Letchworth and Hampstead. The two-storey elevation is symmetrical and features a rendered surface with a steep slate roof, wide eaves, and red brick chimney stacks. The windows include small pane top-hung casements of various widths, with a four-light window in the central corner section above bay windows that have tall lean-to roofs. On either side of the bay windows are gabled porches with doors on the sides; above these porches are single-light windows, and there are three-light windows at the extreme ends. The rear mostly has two-light windows, with a boarded door at the corner and a half-glazed door leading to Bro Dawel. There is also a gabled outhouse associated with Iscoed.
