Description
The Three-Arch Aqueduct over the Vyrnwy Flood Plain, known as the Southern Arches, is a 19th-century structure featuring a central core of red brick with blue brick facings and a brick band above the arches. It has three elliptical arches supported by central raking buttresses and sweeping abutments topped with stone pyramidal caps. Above each arch, there are pairs of floreated terminals for tie-rods.
