Description

The Old Rectory is a two-storey building featuring a red brick frontage, with a section set back on the left. It has slate roofs that are hipped to the side ranges and tall brick stacks, along with brick band-courses. The Georgian centre block showcases double hung sashes beneath cambered brick heads, with flush-set frames and thick glazing bars. The sashes on the right have slender glazing bars. The entrance has a plane stone architrave and cornice above a six-panel door, and there is a lean-to conservatory on the right.

Inside, the building retains a well-preserved 18th-century panelled room on the ground floor, along with an entrance hall that features an arched opening leading to a fine staircase at the rear.
