Description
The Pheasant Public House is a 19th-century building constructed of brick, which is rendered and features fake timber cladding on the main elevation. It has a slate roof with a single stack on the left-hand gable, which is shared with No 42. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and has a two-window range.
On the left side, there is a round-arched passage entry, which is complemented by a round-arched door on the right. This door has reeded panels, a lozenge-shaped overlight, and a reeded outer architrave with console brackets. In the center, there is an inserted small-paned window. The first floor features two 12-pane sash windows. The building is topped with a modillion eaves cornice, and there are hipped gabled dormers within the roof, each containing a 6-pane sash window.
