Description
The former house south of the Woolpack is a single-storey T-shaped building constructed of random stone, topped with a steeply pitched roof covered in corrugated iron sheeting. At the eastern end, there is a large stepped stone stack. Shallow outshuts are located at the eastern end of both the north and south sides, each featuring a small wooden-framed window, which may have illuminated a hearth. The entrance is situated at the right end of the north side, consisting of large double boarded doors that reach up to the eaves. To the left of the entrance, there is a large three-light wooden window, which is boarded over on the inside. Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
