Description
The Ore Dressing Shed is an early 20th-century, two-storey brick building that was originally illuminated from above. It features a slate roof, although the glazed panels are missing and the structure is partly hidden by vegetation. The windows have iron-framed glazing bars. The west gable end includes two round-headed windows on the upper storey and a segmental-headed window to the right of center on the lower storey. The left side wall has a wide doorway with a wooden lintel and a brick relieving arch, positioned back from the right end. The right side wall has a corresponding segment-headed window set back from the left end. The rear gable end also has two round-headed windows on the upper storey.
The roof is supported by light angle-iron trusses and retains part of its boarded underside. Inside the lower storey, the doorway opens into a single space with a brick partition wall that includes two doorways on the left. Behind this partition wall are two concrete bases that support machinery on the upper floor.
