Description

Plas Wilkin, which includes attached farmyard ranges, is a building constructed from rubble with roughly squared quoins and a slate roof, featuring a central brick chimney. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical two-window elevation. The central entrance consists of a plank door with decorative strap hinges, leading to a gabled open timber framed porch that has shaped timbers and a wooden finial. There are two gabled dormers, each with timber framing in the gables, barge boards, and finials. All windows are three-unit horizontally-sliding sashes.

To the left, there is an L-shaped barn range that has two decorative finialed louvres and a door with a porch similar to that of the main building. The return of this range has an attached lower section with a gable end featuring three round-headed arched windows with multipaned cast iron windows. At the rear, there is a single-storey gabled range with horizontally-sliding sash windows, one of which has 12 panes. Additionally, to the rear and right, there is another L-shaped barn range with openings that have decorative louvres. The range on the right has an altered ground floor and upper floor, showcasing a section of timber framing with cusped braces and a range of three small openings.

The building was not accessible at the time of the 1995 survey.
