Description
Lygan Uchaf is a Georgian style, two-storey, three-bay double-depth house that is roughly square in plan. It is constructed of snecked stone and features a hipped slate roof with two brick ridge stacks. The windows are 16-pane hornless sashes, each with hood moulds and stone sills. The central doorway has a fielded-panel door and a replaced overlight. On the left side wall, there is a small-pane window inserted in the lower left. The three-bay rear elevation, which faces the yard, closely resembles the front, but the central doorway here has a boarded door and a small-pane overlight. The date 1851 is engraved above the hood mould of this doorway. Attached to the left side of the rear is a single-storey projection with a hipped roof, featuring a boarded door under a stone lintel and a replaced window in its left end wall. The building has not been inspected.
