L-plan farm range at Mynachlog

The L-plan farm range at Mynachlog consists of a barn to the southwest and a cow and cattle housing and cartshed range to the northwest, connected by a short section of later walling. The long northwest range is dated 1850, while the barn appears to be earlier, possibly from the early 19th century. The barn is built of coarse rubble with a slate roof and tiled ridge. It features a former high central doorway that has been blocked with brick, likely in the mid-20th century, and a 3-light window has been inserted. There is a similar window to the left, with three blocked vents above it.

The long northwest range includes a milking parlour, cattle sheds, and cart sheds. This section, dated 1850, shows a more sophisticated construction than the adjacent barn, being made of squared sandstone with ashlar dressings. Gable openings are present only in the right-hand section. The range has a series of doors and windows, all featuring shallow arched lintels, except for one doorway towards the center. The date is inscribed on one of the window heads. To the right, there are two shallow arched cart entries, with a doorway leading to a loft staircase on the left. Above the cart shed, there are two glazed windows, and two additional first-floor windows beyond, one of which retains its wooden shutters.
