Description

Llys Mair is a Georgian-style vicarage built in the 18th century, featuring two storeys and three windows, facing west. The building has pebble-dashed walls and a hipped slate roof supported by two tall brick stacks. The front is accentuated by broad pilaster strips, with slightly set-back corners. The three windows are symmetrically arranged, with three 6-over-6-pane horned sash windows on the first floor, the central window being narrower. On the ground floor, there is a central 20th-century gabled porch over a doorway that has a six-panelled door and a fanlight with modern tracery.

The north elevation includes a single-storey block with a hipped slate roof offset to the left, featuring two 8-over-8-pane hornless sash windows on the ground floor to the right, and a single 6-over-6-pane sash window above. The south elevation has a 19th-century addition with canted angles and a shallow hipped roof, which includes sash windows with single vertical glazing bars; to its right on the first floor is a 12-pane sash window, with a 4-pane sash window below. The ground falls to the rear of the house, where there is a central arched cellar entrance, stone steps, and a walkway leading to the ground floor. A late 20th-century rear door is present, along with a wide tripartite sash window to the right, beneath which is a three-light cellar window with a segmental head. The first floor features small-pane sashes.

Inside, there is a central hall with a tiled floor and a wooden dogleg stair to the left, which has a turned newel and a mahogany rail. The internal doors are either four or six panels, with simple 19th-century skirtings and covings. The ground floor room with a south bay window has shutters on its windows.
