Description
Pennsylvania Lodge is a castellated building dating from the 19th century, featuring two storeys and three bays. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has an arcaded frieze beneath an embattled parapet, with a hipped slate roof behind. At the rear, there is a single stack with three diagonal shafts. The central porch projects and is two storeys high, showcasing a Tudor-arched doorway with a hood mould and a studded door. The side walls of the porch have arched windows on the lower storey and single-light square-headed windows above, all of which are topped with hood moulds. The mullioned windows are composed of two lights with transoms in the lower storey. The single-bay side walls have windows similar to those at the front, although the upper-storey window on the left side has a replaced mullion. The rear of the lodge is finished in scribed render, featuring a plain parapet and a single-storey added lean-to.
