Description
The Cambrian Hotel is a mid-19th century, late Georgian building that stands three stories tall with a front featuring one large window and three smaller windows, all finished in pebbledash. It has cill bands, a plinth, and rusticated quoins. The roof is slate, and there are cement-rendered chimney stacks. The small pane sash windows on the second and ground floors have cement architraves, while the first floor features splayed bays with small pane casement glazing and panelled aprons. There are French windows in the third bay that open onto an iron-railed balcony, which is similar to another balcony between the left-hand bays. These bays are connected, creating a hood over the ground floor. The main entrance has a four-panel door with a deeply lugged architrave. Cill bands continue around the left and right gable ends, which also display name boards.
At the rear, there are small pane sash windows with cambered heads on the first and ground floors, along with cill bands. The building has cellar openings and doorways on the left and right sides.
