Description
The Masonic Hall is a three-storey, four-window former industrial building dating from the 19th century. It features a roughcast front with plinth and cill bands. The building has a slate roof with bracketed eaves. The second floor is adorned with six-pane pivot windows, while the lower floors have metal frame multipane windows with small central casement openings, all topped with cambered heads. Above and to the right of the entrance, there is small pane glazing beneath a broad and cusped bracketed hood.
To the left of the entrance, there is a rectangular panel inscribed 'RONDLE READE 1656'. This panel is said to have been removed from Llangollen Bridge during its widening in 1873 and relates to repairs made by the mason for a cost of £250. The left gable end of the building features a pediment treatment created by the continuation of the brick bracketed eaves and similar brackets on the gable, along with some blocked windows.
