Description
Eyarth House is a two-storey house dating from the 20th century, with its formal front facing the garden to the south-east. The house features two forward hipped wings and is rendered with score-lines in the render to mimic stonework courses. The roofs are slate, hipped over each wing and have generous sprockets typical of the 1930s. The centre of the south-east elevation has a two-window range, while each wing has a single window. All upper windows are sash type with 12 panes and have French external shutters. The lower windows are of the mullion and transom type, with a conservatory at the centre that includes mullion-pilasters and margin lights in the upper glazing. There are rendered chimney stacks.
The north-east elevation serves as the approach and entrance front, featuring a range of five windows similar to those on the garden front, all with French shutters. At the centre is a Doric porch with two columns on each side and a square-framed doorway.
There is a raised terrace on both the south-east and south-west sides, with balustrades and urns flanking wide central flights of steps.
