Description

The Prince of Wales Public House is a mid-19th century building that stands three stories high with a symmetrical front featuring two windows. The façade is finished with modern render and includes rusticated quoins and a plinth. The roof is slate, topped with rendered end chimney stacks. The building has 12 and 16-pane sash windows, which have margins and stone lintels adorned with added Tudor labels. The ground floor windows and a modern central door are set beneath a shop front type overall cornice that includes end pilasters. A blank coat of arms is positioned at the center of the second floor. To the right, there are modern extensions. The left gable has a splayed angle with rusticated quoins on the second floor, above a two-storey cross range that features a boarded cellar door and modern casement windows.
