Description

5 Cross Lane is a two-storey building featuring painted roughcast fronts, plinths, slate roofs, and red brick chimney stacks. The front of No 4 has a one plus two window arrangement that follows the curve of the road, with rusticated quoins and a cill band on the first floor. The windows are mostly small pane sash types with architraves, and those on the ground floor are decorated with depressed ogees. There are pedimented doorcases to the right of the central window, leading to a half glazed door. Nos 5 and 6 have one-window fronts with small pane sashes above two-light casements, also with half glazed doors.
