Description
3 Clwyd Street is a three-storey building featuring a five-window range facing Clwyd Street and a four-window return on Russell Road. The main elevation on Clwyd Street has entrances framed by moulded architraves with entablature hoods supported by brackets. The doorways are flanked by intact two-storey canted bay windows at Nos 3 and 4, which have two and four-pane sashes separated by fluted corner columns, panelled aprons, and plain cornices. At No 2, the ground floor has been altered with a circa 1950 shop front that wraps around the bay window and extends across the Russell Road elevation, although the original detailing remains visible in the upper storeys. The building features four-pane sash windows above the doorways, on the first floor of the Russell Road elevation, and on the second storey, where they have plain stone lintels. The eaves overhang is supported by moulded brackets.
