Description

The building is a linear range that includes a lofted cartshed and stable, a single-storey brewhouse at the southeast end, and pigsties at the southwest corner of the brewhouse. It is constructed from roughly dressed stone and rubble masonry, with large stones used for the quoins and jambs. The roof is slate, and the brewhouse features a tall dressed stone ridge stack with capping.

Inside, the lofted cartshed and stable have timber lintels throughout, including a large, roughly hewn lintel over the cartshed entrance. The northeast elevation faces the yard, with the cartshed entrance on the right, which has a modern light fixture above and offset to the right. The stable is on the left, flanked by 6-pane lights and featuring a boarded door above the opening. Originally, there were doorways for loft access at each gable end; however, steps at the northwest end have been removed, and the opening at the southeast end is now blocked.

The brewhouse is a single-storey structure with doorways at the southeast end, one of which has a shallow elliptical head made of roughly dressed voussoirs. There is also a 6-pane light set under the eaves along the northeast wall. The pigsty at the southwest corner has been partly rebuilt with brick. The ground floor of the lofted cartshed and stable features roughly chamfered beams, but access to the loft and other buildings was not possible during the survey.
