Description

Brendon is a two-storey building featuring roughcast render with brick and terracotta dressings, topped by a plain tiled roof. It has a two-window range facing the street, with the entrance located at the rear. To the left, there is an advanced Dutch gable that includes a canted two-storey bay window. This bay window has mullioned and transomed lights, with ogee arches set in segmentally headed upper lights. Above, there is a two-light attic window. To the right, there is an additional canted bay window, which was added during alterations in 1911 but likely reused an existing window. Above this bay window, there is a four-light mullioned window. The northern return elevation features a tiered mullioned and transomed stair window in the gable return, along with shaped mullioned windows in the wing beyond.
