Description
Glyn Farmhouse and its attached outbuildings are constructed from roughly coursed and squared stone, topped with a slate roof, and consist of two storeys throughout. The central part of the farmhouse originally featured a central entrance, which has since been converted into a window. The windows throughout the building have flat stone lintels but have been poorly replaced with UPVC glazing in the earlier openings. To the right of the main house is an extension built in 1887, which matches the height of the original structure but is deeper in plan. This extension has a single unit width, with a doorway on the left and a window on the right, both featuring cambered heads.
To the south of the main house is a range of outbuildings that includes the oldest part of the dwelling, along with a wing that extends at right angles to the main range, which is a later addition. An external staircase is located in the angle between the main range and the wing. The right-angled range of outbuildings also contains what appears to be the re-sited remains of a fireplace in a gable wall, featuring a deeply moulded raking bressumer supported by chamfered jambs.
