Description
Siop Sian, also known as "The Central," is a three-storey building, with two storeys at the rear, featuring three windows. The exterior is roughcast with raised horizontal, corner, and plinth bands, as well as smooth render architraves. The roof is slate, topped with a rendered chimney on the right side.
On the second and first floors, there is a centrally placed window flanked by broader windows on each side, all with lugged architraves and bands at sill level, although the glazing is modern. The ground floor has an altered late 19th-century shop front on the left. This front features classically derived end pilasters that support a cornice on brackets, with a fascia board below. To the left, there is a modernised window and glazed double shop doors, while to the right, there is a half-glazed door from around the 1920s. Adjacent to the shop front on the right are two display windows with lugged architraves and a panel between them, topped with a fascia board.
