Description

Pont Cymmerau is a two-span vernacular bridge, possibly dating from the 17th century, located at the junction of several Roman roads. It is constructed from rubble on a rock platform and features two wide segmental arches with arch rings. On the upstream side, there is a shallow-pointed cut-water, while the downstream side has a flat buttress. The right arch is set slightly lower than the left. The bridge lacks parapets and has an out-of-character modern wire fence. This twin-arched bridge holds historic interest.
