Description
1A to 6A Heol Tan-y-bryn is a row of cottages located on the south side in Abergynolwyn. These cottages are constructed from irregular coursed slate rubble and feature slate roofs with deep eaves and verges. Each house has a single bay and a double depth plan, with a lateral passage leading from the entrance. The entrance includes a four-panelled door with a rounded moulded transom above the overlight. The upper panels of the door have raised mouldings, while the lower panels are flush bead. Each cottage has twelve-paned sash windows, one on each floor, which do not have horns, and the upper floor windows are shorter. The cottages are in their original condition.
