Description
The cow house and hay store at Bryndinas is a 20th-century agricultural building constructed of rubble stone, topped with a corrugated asbestos-cement roof. The north-facing side features a full-height doorway on the right and a boarded door on the left. The left gable end includes a small-pane loft window that was originally a loading doorway. The hay barn, located on the right side, is open-fronted and supported by a central square pier, also covered with a corrugated iron roof. The gable end, which was previously open, has been infilled with rubble stone and includes a loft doorway. The rear of the barn is open-fronted as well, featuring a round pier. A later roof has been added to cover the area between this building and the multi-purpose farm range directly to the south. The hay store has new wooden trusses that were installed in the mid-20th century.
