7 Heol Tan-y-bryn

7 Heol Tan-y-bryn is part of a row of houses numbered 1 to 12 on Heol Tan-y-bryn in Abergynolwyn. The building is constructed from irregular coursed slate rubble and features slate roofs with red roll clayware ridges, as well as deep eaves and verges. It is two storeys high and has a single bay with a double depth plan, including a lateral passage leading to the entrance. The entrance consists of a four-panelled door with raised mouldings and a narrow overlight above it. The ground floor openings have flush stone lintels, and each floor has sixteen paned unhorned sash windows, with the upper floor windows being smaller and narrower. The chimneys are grouped on the party walls. At the rear, there is a regular range of two-storey slated service wings, which are whitewashed on the sides and also have a slate roof with red roll ridges. There are lean-to additions at the back. Additionally, there is a boarded door with a large light in the upper part.
