Description
Tan'r Allt is a three-storey, three-window house built with coursed rubble masonry. It features a moderately pitched slate roof with a plain eaves cornice and modern bargeboards at the verges, along with stone stacks. The second-floor window on the right has a shallow upper sash with nine panes. The left and centre windows are modern small-paned designs, all having stone lintels. On the first floor, there are twelve-pane sash windows in the centre and on the right, with a modern window on the left, all also featuring stone lintels.
The ground floor includes later 19th-century canted bays, with French windows on the right and sash windows on the left, both topped with cornices and flat roofs. In the centre, there is an open corniced porch supported by Tuscan columns and pilasters, leading to a six-panel door with the upper four panels glazed. Additionally, a later gabled, storeyed porch, dated 1899, has been added to the left end elevation, featuring stone lintels and Victorian sashes.
