Description

Neuadd Llewelyn is a two-storey house built in the Georgian style, typical of the estate during this period. It is constructed of coursed stone masonry and features a massive stone lintel across the ground floor openings. The slate roof has overhanging eaves and verges, with large rectangular end stacks that include dripstones and capping. The house appears to have originally been two separate two-window houses, with the doorways offset to the right (north). The doorway on the left has been partially blocked and now contains a window in the upper part. The doorway at the right end features a panelled door beneath a shallow overlight with diamond glazing bars. The windows are 12-pane horned sashes, and the first-floor windows are offset to the left of the original doorways, positioned under the eaves. At the rear, there is a basement storey that retains small-paned casement windows. The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in June and July 2003.
