Description
Horeb Capel is a rectangular, single-storey chapel built from rubble and roughcast, topped with a hipped slate roof. Each long side features three large sash windows with marginal glazing and plain stucco architraves, complemented by stucco quoins. On the west side, there is a recessed entrance bay with a hipped roof, also adorned with stucco quoins and architraves. The entrance, facing north, has a six-panel door. Behind this porch, there is a small boiler house addition with a plain chimney, positioned between it and the main chapel structure. In front of the entrance, there is a decorative spear-headed iron gate set within a rubble wall that extends south along the side of the chapel.
Inside, all fittings date from the late 19th century. The chapel features grained pitch-pine box pews arranged on an incline, a pine panelled pulpit with a balustrade, and a large, elaborate foliate plasterwork roundel on the ribbed and boarded ceiling.
