Description
Pandy at Dolobran is a two-storey building constructed from rubble stonework with thin sawn quoins and a slate roof. The entrance to the ground floor is located in the upper gable end, flanked by two small windows. There is also an opening for the drive shaft in the lower gable end, which has foundations for the corresponding bearing for the pit wheel. The upper floor features three windows on each side, some of which still have small pane glazing. A stack is positioned on the upper gable end. Access to the upper floor is provided by a later straight flight external stair on the west side, which blocks one of the windows.
Internally, the first floor is supported by two cross beams, with the joists resting on levelling boards set into the end walls. There are no surviving fittings on the ground floor, but the first floor contains some tongue and grooved partitions and a small gable end fireplace.
