Description
6 Rhos Goch is part of a row of six single-storey houses located in Cwm Penmachno, Bro Machno. The houses are built from local stone rubble and feature slate roofs with low rectangular stone chimneys. The eastern gable of the upper group of houses has stone water tabling. Each house has a square-headed doorway flanked by a window on either side. The doors and windows sit under deep stone sills and have hoodmoulds above. Originally, the glazing consisted of fixed or sash small-pane windows, although most have been replaced. The top house in the row has been extended, aligning with a small square window and a smaller square chimney. The houses also have various outshots at the rear, typically with monopitch slate roofs and differing window styles.
