Description
Wenallt Stores is a two-storey building with an attic and storeyed wings at the rear, connected by a flat-roofed addition. It is constructed from well-coursed and dressed stone masonry. The slate roof features dressed stone stacks with dripstones and capping. The front pitch has gabled dormers with slate-hung cheeks, while the rear pitch includes Velux windows.
The building has a range of four unequally spaced windows: two widely spaced 12-pane sash windows on the first floor to the left, with a similar window in each bay to the right. There is a narrower window above the doorway to the house, which is directly to the right of the shop front, positioned almost centrally within the entire range. The shop front features a central door flanked by large windows beneath a moulded fascia with console brackets. To the left of the door is a 2-pane fixed light window. The dormers contain modern windows.
The storeyed wings at the rear have advanced verges and dressed stone gable stacks, with scattered fenestration in the end walls. They are connected by a flat-roofed addition that includes modern casement windows.
