Description

Meirionfa is a two-storey cottage built of rubble, topped with a continuous modern slate roof and featuring plain end chimneys. It has a central entrance with a modern door and windows on both floors. The ground-floor windows have returned slatestone labels and slate lintels. The windows on Meirionfa are designed to resemble horned 16-pane sashes, while the windows on the adjoining cottage, Talafon, are made of aluminium in hardwood frames. Attached to Talafon is a modern two-storey addition that includes a garage on the ground floor, with a rough-cast gable end and a modern window. Meirionfa is part of a group of two cottages located on Stryd Gwynant.
